The Supplier Quality Engineer – Electrical/Electronics is responsible for supporting our Supplier Quality Engineers in the U.S. and Europe by working closely with suppliers in Southeast Asia to ensure product quality and improve supplier performance.

This position is part of the Danaher Asia Strategic Sourcing team and will be located in Penang Malaysia.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Support U.S. and European-based factory SQEs in managing quality control processes for electrical/electronics suppliers (PCBA, cable) in Southeast Asia.
• Assist suppliers in understanding and meeting our quality standards and requirements.
• Review supplier quality documentation, such as inspection results and quality reports, ensuring they meet the expectations of the U.S. and/or European factories.
  
  

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 4 years of experience in supplier quality management, particularly in PCBA, cables.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of electrical/electronic components and processes, including quality standards and technical drawings.
• Language Skills: Proficient in written and spoken English, with the ability to handle technical documentation, including quality reports and specifications.
• Flexibility to attend meetings outside of regular business hours due to time zone differences.
  
  

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time to various supplier locations and business traveling mostly in Southeast Asia.
  
  

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience working with suppliers in Southeast Asia.
• Local language (Malay, Thai, Vietnamese, Bengali, Hindi, etc.) communication capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to supplier quality issues.
