Supply Chain Intern

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to support our supply chain team. You will gain hands-on experience in sourcing, procurement, and supply chain operations while working alongside experienced professionals. Job Description

• Issue Purchase Orders timely.
• Provide and follow up on delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Liaise with suppliers on On-Time Delivery, rescheduling, and PO cancellations.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams on shipment status, incoming inspection, GRN & MRB issues, and forecast plans to ensure smooth operations.
• Check and follow up on import arrangements.
• Prepare material forecasts (materials and components).
• Request quotations, source materials, and negotiate prices.
• Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors.

Job Requirement

• Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with ERP systems is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Interest in the manufacturing industry and understanding of basic supply chain principles
