Supply Chain Officer

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in daily routine to cover full scope of SCM function including planning, purchasing & logistics.
• Work order creation, print and issuance to production department - daily
• Assist in follow up on daily production progress and report to Supply Chain Executive – daily.
• Prepare purchase order (indirect purchase) and obtain approval from GM.
• Issue approved purchase order (indirect purchase) to supplier / vendor with the attachments required.
• Follow up /expediting on delivery from supplier / vendor according to PO required date.
• Monitor on payment for every PO raised to vendor with cash in advance terms.
• Perform cost reduction program (liaise with vendor for cost reduction / discount).
• GRN Document checking (all data must be tally with PO vs. DO & invoice from vendor).
• Update and monitor data for actual purchase vs. budgeted.
• Assist in kitting of finished goods for shipment.
• Assist in receiving / im-bound support and data entry.
• Data collection for report preparation.
• Maintain all records as required.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the superior.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in supply chain management Logistics, Procurement, or related field.
• Preferably 2 years of working experience in the related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Able to work in a fast-paced, short lead time order processing environment
• Good analytical skills and ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia language for both spoken and written.
• Good work ethics.
