Support Engineer Technical Documentation

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Monitor and categorize reported incidents related to the assigned applications.
• Support investigations by identifying root causes, assisting with testing, and communicating resolutions or fixes to users during the operations and maintenance phases, in collaboration with the application team.
• Contribute to the maintenance of onboarding processes and user instructions, working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in staging demos upon invitation by the Application Owners and receive the handover for each release package.
• Collaborate with the application team to document and execute processes related to performance monitoring, analytics, and incident management.
• Prepare and present the monthly reports on system performance, incidents, and user requests, assist in analyzing the data to identify areas for improvement, and implement preventive measures.
• Regularly review supported use cases maintained by the Application Owners, identify and address any gaps or missing use cases based on support requests.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance system efficiency and operational processes.
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or any equivalent course.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working within scaled agile frameworks and Scrum teams.
• Proficiency in Programming and software development, including Java, JavaScript, Python; Tools such as Selenium, Maven, Jenkins, and Artifactory; Version control such as GIT/ GIT Flow.
• Preferred skills and knowledge in DITA Specification, DITA Open Toolkit, XML, XML catalogues, XSLT, CSS, DTD, ANT script, oXygen application framework.
• Experience with Jira/ Azure DevOps and Confluence.
• A strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, on-time delivery, and good communication skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
