Mission/Purpose of the Job

Technical

• Responsible for vehicle repair, minor vehicle diagnosing, recommending and ensuring
  
  

rectification procedures are carried out.

Commercial

• Manage policies within the framework to meet the standards and direction laid down by the
  
  

management.

Scope and Influence

• Responsible for providing services and repair.
  
  

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• To perform repairs - brakes, suspension, chassis.
• To carry out Service Maintenance on the trucks.
• To do engine check and adjust, air and break checking.
• To take care of wiring repair, compressor checking.
• To record repair time and detail of repair.
• To inform foreman for repair detail.
• To clean customer vehicle.
• To keep Warranty parts and Tag for Claim
• Ensure good housekeeping of work bay.
• Ethical compliance of genuine parts replacement and service rendered according to the
  
  

checklist and scope of works.

• Adhere to Volvo way, Volvo processes and policies.
• Any other duties assigned by your immediate superior.
  
  

Essential Educational And/or Training Qualifications And Certificates

• Malaysian Skills Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Engineering or related field
• Preferred with valid B2, D or GDL driving license
  
  

Preferred Experience And Knowledge

• Minimum of 3 – 5 years working experience in servicing and repairing heavy trucks
  
  

(Japanese and Continental brands).

• Basic Vehicle Principles and Concepts.
• Basic engine, transmission and brake system knowledge.
• Multi-meter basic electrical values.
• Knowledge in vehicle electrical circuit diagram.
