Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Training Manager to oversee and develop their organisation's training programmes. This role offers the opportunity to shape the learning initiatives of a leading pharmaceutical company, ensuring that employees have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying training needs and designing tailored training programmes.

What You'll Do

As a Training Manager in the Pharmaceutical sector, your role will be pivotal in shaping the learning initiatives within our client's organisation. You will be tasked with assessing organisational training needs, designing bespoke training programmes, and ensuring that these are aligned with business goals. Your responsibilities will also include facilitating engaging training sessions for employees at various levels, measuring the effectiveness of these programmes, and supporting employees in their ongoing professional development. You will work closely with department leaders to customise training initiatives for specific teams and ensure alignment between these initiatives and company strategy.

  • Assess organisational training needs through surveys, interviews, and consultations with managers
  • Design, develop, and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of the organisation
  • Create and maintain training materials and manage relevant training platforms
  • Facilitate in-person, virtual, or hybrid training sessions for employees at various levels
  • Measure the effectiveness of training programmes through assessments, feedback, and post-training evaluations
  • Support employees in their ongoing professional development by offering coaching, mentorship, and opportunities for continuous learning
  • Work closely with department leaders to customise training programmes for specific teams and business needs
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, employee progress, and program outcomes

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for this Training Manager role will bring a wealth of knowledge from a recognised university degree in medical/pharmacy or a related science subject. You will have at least 1-2 years' experience in designing, delivering, or managing medical training or educational programmes within the Pharmaceutical Industry. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively present information and interact with various stakeholders. Your ability to assess the effectiveness of training initiatives and make data-driven decisions will be crucial in this role. Additionally, your strong organisational skills will allow you to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • A recognised university degree in medical/pharmacy or related science subject (bio-medical/ biology) or equivalent
  • At least 1–2-year experience in design, delivery, and/or management of medical training/educational programs in the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to assess training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong experience with e-learning tools and learning management system
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
