This is a Unit Head position, whose main role is to lead and drive the Middleware Integration DevOps team and as Domain Owner of Middleware API Development and Management of end-to-end services.

This is a Unit Head position, whose main role is to lead and drive the Middleware Integration DevOps team and as Domain Owner of Middleware API Development and Management of end-to-end services.
- Middleware Integration – Governance of integration in IT system landscape.
- Middleware API Application Development - Roadmap of the domain, feature enhancements through Application Development Delivery (Including Scoping, Solution & Design, Build, Testing, Migration, Deploy and Stability), Capacity Planning, Dimensioning & Application Upgrades.
- Middleware API Application Management - Application Operations (L2, L3), Service Requests, vendor management including Incident, Problem and Change Management, Application Patch Management, Preventive & Corrective Maintenance, Performance Monitoring, War Room Lead.
- Develop and retain talent within section. Coach and mentor staff to maximize their potential, identify and groom successor, develop staff plan, manage staff performance.
- End to end platform accountability. To oversee delivery of Middleware API services to ensure stability, availability and quality of IT Services within your domain responsibility.
- 24x7 escalation standby, lead and drive DevOps team to ensure critical incidents are being attended promptly for quick service recovery, to determine Root Cause Analysis. You are required to rotate as a war room lead should any crisis be declared and as War Room management lead for festive monitoring.
- Resolve and remediate system issues related to Customer complaints with fast resolution and permanent fixes.
- Required to drive team proactively to ensure DevOps team perform Daily Health Check, Preventive Actions and Problem Handling, to permanently fix and prevent faults in the systems from any service interruptions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Oversee all changes on the production system (jointly with all affected systems in the value chain) to ensure any service request, new change and configuration is fully tested and have necessary approvals before production deployment, in line with change process.
- To own the High-Level Design (jointly with Demand Team), Low-Level Design and implementation plans, including SIT of a project delivery.
- Ensure end-to-end capacity management is in place to monitor traffic growth, based on market trend and consumer behavior and develop action plans to ensure the system is capable to handle the traffic increase. Execute software/platform upgrade according to dimensioning requirements.
- Enforce policies and procedures to ensure operations and maintenance of system is handled efficiently without any incidences. As a Control owner, ensure accurate compliance based on on-going audit activities carried out by external and internal auditors.
- Drive radical cost optimization for CAPEX and OPEX ambition. You need to have good control on cost optimization with all partners.
- Internal and external stakeholders’ management. Vendor management in the delivery of capabilities, including monthly managed service governance together with Service Management team.
- To plan and develop new effective operating model with Good SLA Governance.
- Continuously drive service improvement processes, procedures and controls for Effective and Efficient operations, and ensure the teams to comply with standards, guidelines and best practices.
- Matrix reporting into IT Consolidation and Integration program, to drive transformation agenda of consolidate into the future IT landscape.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Middleware Integration, DevOps, or related fields.
- Proven experience in Middleware API development and management.
- Working experience with DevOps tools and environment will be advantageous: AWS, Azure, Java, GitHub, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Jira, Jenkins, JMeter, SonarCube, Veracode and others.
- Good knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Proficiency in incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Familiarity with performance monitoring and application patch management.
- Experience in capacity planning and application upgrades.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, with a focus on coaching and mentoring.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Experience in overseeing end-to-end service delivery and managing project timelines.
- Ability to enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Ability to monitor and analyze traffic growth and develop action plans accordingly.
- Experience in cost optimization for both CAPEX and OPEX.
- Ability to manage budgets and ensure financial accountability.
