As an Upstream Chemicals Technical Engineer, you will work alongside the SEA Technical Manager engaging with our internal and external customers to help define and execute our strategic vision. You will be part of a focused-on meeting customer needs through the fit for purpose chemical solutions.

As an Upstream Chemicals Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:


  • Working alongside the SEA Technical Manager and APAC Technical Manager to collaborate with internal and external customers and establish fit for purpose production chemistry solutions
  • Leading and monitoring the progress of new technology introduction for the analysis function
  • Supporting our regional laboratory technicians and chemists to complete technical service requests (TSRs), following up and ensuring the testing is completed Would you want to develop your career in our Global Financial Organization working with Indirect Taxation?

Our Global Finance Controllership Team provides support for the business for technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will support various tax jurisdictions for EMEA to manage the calculation, filing, payment and reconciliation of international Indirect Taxes at Global Finance Organization.

As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for:


  • Reporting to the Tax Lead, working with the other Indirect Analysts within the regional groups for the Europe regions to review and control all the Indirect Tax calculations from our various ERPs.
  • Completing the periodic filing and payment of all Indirect Taxes (VAT, GST, Withholding Taxes etc).
  • Documenting and communicating abnormal tax expenses to Operations and Management.
  • Reconciling all balance sheet tax accounts monthly and any other duties as required.
  • Keeping the company abreast of all legal taxation matters that could have an impact of the running of a successful tax practice i.e., audits, tax updates.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:


  • Have Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit or related field. Professional qualification ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA or equivalent is an advantage
  • Have minimum 5 years Indirect Tax/ Corporate tax experience for any tax jurisdiction.
  • Possess good analytical skills with proactive mind-set, with the ability to bring expert advice and problem-solving skills to the team.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, with good spoken and written English
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a diverse cultural team
