Job Description

Core responsibilities

• Transportation and route planning: Planning efficient routes, scheduling deliveries, and allocating drivers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.

• Inventory and warehousing: Monitoring stock levels, managing the storage of vehicles and parts, and overseeing loading and unloading processes.

• Coordination and communication: Communicating with sales team , dealerships, and customers, and collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

• Compliance and safety: Ensuring all operations comply with transportation regulations and safety standards, and conducting safety checks on vehicles and equipment.

Specific tasks

• Scheduling and dispatching drivers and vehicles

Monitoring delivery timelines for both incoming and outgoing shipments

• Responding to sales team and supplier queries and resolving delivery issues

• Preparing dispatch documents and admin reports

• Using logistics software to optimize procedures and track shipments

• Conducting administrative duties, including managing expenses and record-keeping

• Providing support for administrative and operational functions, and managing logistics staff
