Position Overview

allnex is looking for an experienced professional to join our team in Melaka as a Warehouse Operator! In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, adherence to FIFO/FEFO principles, and optimal utilisation of warehouse space.

Do you have a proactive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a strong sales ethic? If so, we’re counting on you to help us maintain safe and reliable operations!

Responsibilities

• Conduct warehouse activities, including receiving and storing all packed goods, data entry, picking and packing customer orders, and organising branch transfers, including handling dangerous goods.
• Perform repackaging and transfer of materials into pail and drum SKUs as needed.
• Load and unload trucks on a daily basis.
• Maintain housekeeping standards, including adherence to 5S principles and all safety processes and procedures.
• Handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints, ensuring follow-up and resolution.
• Fully comply with all allnex and industry Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards.
• Take responsibility for the safe operation of the unit, ensuring compliance with health requirements, environmental protection measures, and energy conservation practices.
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• 3 years warehouse experience in a chemical company
• Knowledge of chemical materials storage, handling and related regulations
• Familiar with warehouse operation procedure
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Basic English language skills
• Attention to details and decision making on competing priorities
• Good Microsoft Office knowledge, experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX or SAP ERP would be advantages
  
  

Qualifications

• High school or above.
• Certification or experience in complying with dangerous goods regulations and hazardous materials storage.
