Work Leader (Permit to Work Level 2 - PTW L2)

Vitality Innovations Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Work Leader (Permit to Work Level 2 - PTW L2) to join our team in Miri, Sarawak. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating a range of health, safety and environmental activities across our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Effectively managing and coordinating the Permit to Work system for all on-site activities
• Conducting risk assessments and developing appropriate safety control measures
• Providing on-site supervision and support to ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations
• Investigating incidents and near-misses, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Delivering toolbox talks and safety training to site personnel
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to health, safety and environmental management
• Collaborating with project teams to identify and address potential hazards

What we're looking for

• Possess a valid Permit to Work Level 2 (PTW L2) certification
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in the use of relevant software and digital tools
• Willingness to work on-site and adapt to changing project demands
