As the Zonal Operations Manager, you will be the lead person responsible to collaborate with Exclusive Zone Distributors (EZD) to manage overall supply chain operations to ensure product(s) inventory is sufficient at all warehouses / depots; and to support HOZ in collaborating and engaging Zonal and EZD Operations Team
Accountability
- To manage overall Angkasa, EZD stakeholders, Depots, Warehouse and Logistics operations in alignment with HOZ Business Direction and Strategy. This includes management of shipment & logistics plan / procedures between Angkasa, EZD Warehouse, and Depots.
- To provide business review and reporting relating to KSI, Volume Forecasting, EZD Budgeting, EZD Financial Performance, including overseeing the overall management of LOGD and product return, as well as inventory management
- Develop & maintain excellent relationship with EZDs.
- To coach and develop team for future roles / succession planning through on-the-job training, providing timely guidance and feedback to develop a highly capable and engaged team within the Zone.
- Monitor & manage EZD achievements on a Zonal Level and ensure it is in line with Company business objective & targets by performance / deliverables of team and partners financial / shipment targets, logistics efficiency and inventory management.
- To be change lead for transformation in assigned zone.
- To ensure compliance within EZDs with all PMI Principles & Practices, Code of Conduct, Commercial processes, local and Federal laws, and ensures the team follows PMM & EZD policies / procedures.
Essential skills and competencies:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Business Management, Finance,
- Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Distribution, either in Logistics or
- Supply Chain Management,
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in people management
- Planning skills (budgeting, business cycles)
- Coaching and people management skills.
