OBJECTIVE: Manage the allocated ARV Key Customers holistically to ensure company sales objectives are met. Drive sustainable, revenue generation of the ARV portfolio with appropriate strategic direction, brand stewardship and commercial acumen.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Call on key ARV customers to generate scripts and to put stock on shelf to meet set Revenue budgets


• Achieve profit target


• Manage A&P spend 


• Drive sales of focus brands in portfolio by selling of high profit margin lines 


• Demand and Supply


• Forecast accuracy, meet forecast accuracy target of 75% as per IBP process   


• Ensure stock levels are kept at optimal levels in the ARV channels


• Production of marketing and promotional material in support of achieving sales budgets


• Identify key ARV prescribers and pharmacy groups to drive commercial activities 


• Collaborate and communicate monthly and weekly performance updates to Independent and Corporate KAMs and other stakeholders 


• Portfolio optimisation and New Launches


• Drive profitable lines and discontinue low margin high write off lines


• Launch new products in portfolio

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Matric Certificate


• Driver’s License


• Minimum of 3 years Sales Rep experience or 1 year Sales Management/brand manager experience, preferably in the Pharma market.


• Proven track record of sales experience within the Pharmaceutical industry, possessing an ability to drive sales and having met and even exceeded business targets.


•  The suitable candidate for the position will also have substantial expertise and proven CRM (Customer Relationship Management).

Computer skills:

• Ms Office: The Key Opinion Lead demonstrates high proficiency in Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, which are necessary for the creating reports and communicating internally and externally to all stakeholders

Advantageous Experience: 

• Sales or Marketing, / relevant Diploma/ Degree (Advantageous).

• The ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) is essential.


• A solid understanding of the ARVs (competitors and market positioning)


• Understanding of the ARV channel including chronic houses, pharmacies, and Prescribers


• Able to travel regularly around the country to call upon target customers


• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical compliance and regulatory policies
