Architectural Inspector of Work - IOW (Kanowit)

Project Details

• Project Site: Kanowit, Sarawak
• Contract Duration: 12- 18 months.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Inspector of Works (IOW) for a construction site based in Kanowit, Sarawak.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and inspect construction works to ensure compliance with architectural drawings, specifications and contract requirements and smooth implementation of works at site.
• Inspect workmanship, materials, contract requirements and quality of works.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and relevant parties on site matters.
• Report progress, site issues, and non-conformances to the project architect.
• Assist in resolving technical and site issues promptly.
• Familiar with site supervision, quality control and construction procedures.
• Able to work independently and based full-time at the Kanowit project site.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience as an inspector of works (Architectural)
• Good knowledge of building materials, detailing and construction methods.
• Familiar with site supervision, quality control and construction procedures.
• Able to interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately.
• Good communication and reporting skills
