Job Summary
To assemble products and equipment for the Company. The assembler needs to apply the training provided to ensure that the work he performed meets the Company's Safety, Quality and production requirement. As he progresses further in this role, he will be provided with additional training to perform more critical task like pressure testing.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Complete the training and assessment requirement of the role of Assembler satisfactorily set by the Department
- Read and understand Routing, Engineering Drawings, Bill of Material, Test Procedures and Work Instructions
- Assemble Products and Equipment as according to routing, drawings and procedures
- Conduct Testing of Products and Equipment as according to routing and procedures
- Troubleshoot on problem areas during assembly and testing
- To perform any other related departmental function as necessarily assigned by the Department Manager / Supervisor
- To perform and support the Department Objectives and KPI set by the Management
- Ensure compliance to all health, safety and environment policies
- To adhere to all company and legal requirement as per Johor-WI-A03-Roles, Responsibilities, Accountability and Authority (HSSE) document
Experience:
- 1 – 2 years experience in assembly, testing, repairing and servicing of oil and gas equipment in relevant industry or 3 – 5 years experience in heavy machinery industry.
Education:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics
