Assistant IT Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Assistant Manager to oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, system operations, and IT projects. The role involves managing IT resources, supporting business operations, leading a small IT team, and ensuring reliable and secure technology services.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop IT team members.

IT Infrastructure & Systems

• Manage and maintain network, servers, systems, and IT devices.
• Ensure system availability, performance, security, and software updates.
• Manage software licenses and IT assets.

IT Security

• Implement and improve cybersecurity measures.
• Manage data backup, disaster recovery, and security monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards.

IT Operations & Support

• Oversee daily IT operations.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot system issues.
• Ensure timely resolution of IT incidents and business continuity.

IT Projects & Vendor Management

• Lead IT projects and system improvement initiatives.
• Manage external vendors and technology suppliers.
• Ensure proper IT documentation and compliance with company policies.

Team & Budget Management

• Manage IT budget and resource planning.
• Drive operational efficiency and cost optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Preferably 5–8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, system administration, project management, vendor management, and team leadership.
• Experience in a multinational environment is an advantage.
