Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid Data Analyst role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur, with the flexibility to work from home while operating in line with regional office hours.
Tasks
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns and business opportunities.
- Design and develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau or similar BI tools.
- Build and maintain automated reporting solutions for operational and commercial performance.
- Support product development through data analysis, customer behaviour insights and market intelligence.
- Develop KPIs and performance metrics for digital products and operational services.
- Perform data validation, cleansing and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to support management decision-making.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations & Sales teams to define reporting requirements.
- Assist in developing predictive models and analytical frameworks to support AI-enabled products.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support regional projects involving data migration, system integration and business intelligence initiatives.
- Perform ad-hoc duties assigned when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence or Reporting.
- Advanced SQL and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau or similar visualisation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to communicate technical findings in a business-friendly manner.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Experience within insurance, financial services or automotive industries would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written (English).
