Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- To assist the product engineer in terms of product family in achieving yield target; scrap cost target, debug accuracy target & lean projects eval.
- Support for PE evaluations, projects and analysis , BOM cost improvements evaluations (over temp), Test time reduction projects, Prime Yield improvement , Spec file verifications / qualifications (include Partest) and Support and confirm OBA failure and analysis.
- ROHS debug and failure analysis.
- Real Time debug – debug findings reports.
- Improvement in debug accuracy through training with PE buddy (Rwk, NTF accuracy; retest reduction opportunities). Scrap Cost Monitoring by Product.
- Ensure compliance to Safety, ESD, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines. Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
- Derive Continual Improvement.
- Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
- Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.
- At least 2 year experience in optical device testing/repair related industry and in mass production environment.
- Familiar with basic knowledge and principle of optical devices.
- Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc
- With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information/ data
- Familiar with circuit diagrams and a strong background in Electronics
- Familiarity with test instruments (Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc.)
- Experience in troubleshooting PCBA preferred.
- Can work independently and work with support teams as needed.
- Has basic knowledge of optical circuit, circuit analysis, problem solving and master the use of optical module test instruments.
- This role is 100% onsite (Ipoh) and may require supporting Penang.
