Then come and join our Malaysia team as Financial Analyst, DX to support the Head of Finance (Diagnostics) in the Finance function activities.

Your Role:
  • Period End closing and Financial Reporting.
  • Prepare and provide timely and accurate financial reporting with analysis to local management and sales team to assist them in understand the financial performance and recommended actions, if required.
  • Assist HoF in preparing and validate monthly journal entries for month end closing.
  • Involve in contract review and set up into system.
  • Support HoF in performing any tasks as and when required from time to time.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify continuous improvement opportunities towards the digitalization of processes and reporting tools
Your qualification and experience:
  • You have a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a Finance role with good exposure to other internal stakeholders including management.
  • You have a degree and good academic record.
  • You are ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or similarly qualified is an added advantage.
  • You are confident in working independently after receiving instructions and able to interact with colleagues in other functions to complete tasks and identifying continuous improvement projects.
Your personality and skills:
  • You have good knowledge Microsoft Office applications. Proficient in Excel is preferred.
  • You have excellent problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to understand complex situations quickly and explain to others.
  • You have strong communication skills in both verbal and written English.
  • You can communicate professionally in a variety of scenarios to both internal and external stakeholders and explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • You are a good team player and able to interact with colleagues from different departments.
