Job Description
- Manage procurement activities, including sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
- Implement and monitor procurement strategies to optimise cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan supply needs.
- Evaluate supplier performance and build strong relationships with key vendors.
- Analyse market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to stakeholders.
- Resolve any issues related to procurement or supply chain disruptions.
A Successful Interim Procurement Lead Should Have
- Experience in procurement and supply chain management within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
- Familiarity with procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to analyse data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in relevant procurement tools and software.
- Competitive monthly salary between MYR 27,000 and MYR 33,000.
- Opportunity to work on a temporary basis in a key leadership role.
