Junior Accountant

The Junior Accountant is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, including monitoring cash flow, processing payments such as payroll and vendor transactions, and ensuring all entries are recorded accurately and on time. The role involves assisting in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including preparing invoices, tracking collections, and ensuring timely settlement of payables. The incumbent will also support basic banking activities and assist in monitoring financial risks such as foreign exchange exposure.

In addition, the Junior Accountant will assist in month-end closing activities, including bank reconciliations and foreign currency revaluation, under supervision. The role includes supporting inventory reconciliation between SAP and WMS systems, maintaining proper financial documentation for audit and compliance purposes, and assisting with intercompany transactions and reconciliations. The position also requires handling ad-hoc accounting and finance tasks while continuously learning and adapting to business and system requirements.

WHO ARE YOU?

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates may be considered)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
• Familiarity with accounting systems; experience in SAP S/4HANA is an advantage
• Good understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic financial reporting
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Responsible, disciplined, and willing to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Demonstrates integrity and reliability in handling financial data
