Job Responsibilities

• Assist in food preparation according to recipes and restaurant standards.

• Prepare, wash, cut, and portion ingredients before cooking.

• Cook and plate dishes while maintaining consistency in quality and presentation.

• Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.

• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized at all times.

• Wash kitchen utensils, equipment, and workstations after use.

• Monitor ingredient stock levels and inform supervisors when replenishment is needed.

• Store food properly and follow First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory practices.

• Assist with receiving and checking food deliveries.

• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time.

• Follow instructions from the Kitchen Supervisor, Sous Chef, or Head Chef.

• Perform other duties assigned by management when required.

Job Requirements

• F&B or kitchen experience are encouraged to apply.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

• Positive attitude, responsible, and willing to learn.

• Able to work independently as well as in a team.

• Good personal hygiene and awareness of food safety practices.

• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.

• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when necessary.
