Position: Manager – Civil & Structural
Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia
Contract Duration: long term

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across Civil & Structural engineering discipline
• Support design review, verification, and ensure quality of deliverables
• Participate in discipline workshops to support project deliverables approval
• Supervise Civil & Structural team and ensure schedule and quality compliance
• Review and approve engineering deliverables (calculations, foundation design, layouts, grading plans, specifications, vendor documents)
• Ensure compliance with design codes and geotechnical requirements
• Assess constructability and site development plans
• Review drainage and road design
• Support site inspections and construction monitoring
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders
• Interface with client, EPC contractor, and authorities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Registered with BEM or recognized professional body
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
• Strong experience in:
  • Design review and verification
  • Safety systems
  • Applicable codes and standards
• Based in Sarawak or eligible for Sarawak working permit

Additional Information

• Full-time on-site role in Kuching (no remote work)
• Candidates will be required to support activities at client and stakeholder locations when needed
• Candidates are expected to use their own working equipment (laptop/software)
