We are now looking for another team member to join us in Engineering & Maintenance Department as Mechanical Supervisor.

Do you work with any Manufacturing Industry before?

What you’ll be doing:
-
Responsible in troubleshooting and rectification of machinery/process problems such as pumps, gears, piping, valves, conveyors and etc.

Carry out effective, efficient fault finding and problem resolution to root cause where possible on a wide range of complex systems in a continuous process environment so that they maintain the plant to deliver the target operating efficiencies.

Design and review the preventive maintenance program.

Establish/Review spare parts quantity and availability.

Establish, review & improve LOTO for all machinery.

Closing work orders on timely basis. Ensure useful information have been entered into the SAP system.

Manage staffs (Duty roster, stand-by, call-in, shift, annual/emergency/other leave, off/rest days, etc).

Provide guidance/knowledge to staffs to execute & complete jobs effectively with quality.

Liaise with other department for any defects/improvement/preventive/corrective jobs.

Liaise with suppliers/contractors/consultant/authorities. (sourcing/evaluation/job execution)

Stand-by to response to call-in for rectification of emergency breakdown/problems and work at extended hour.

Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

If you have experience in the following areas – this is an added advantage:

Must possess a degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering with minimum 5 years of working experience in related field is required.

Experience with SAP would be preferable.

To be assertive and have self-confidence in presenting and supporting conclusions, having communication and interpersonal skills.
