What will you do?

As our Brand Communications & Community Manager, reporting to the Marketing Director, you'll be the voice of our brand, crafting compelling narratives and building vibrant communities that resonate with our Malaysia-Singapore audience. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the brand's image in a dynamic market, collaborating closely with marketing and retail teams to implement integrated communication campaigns.

You Are Expected To Manage The Following

  • Strategic Communications: Define and execute the annual communication strategy, ensuring alignment with international guidelines and local business objectives. Prioritize projects and launches to maximize impact and achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • KOL Management: Build and nurture relationships with key influencers, spokespersons, celebrities, bloggers, and editors. Tailor pitches to individual needs and leverage their reach to amplify brand messaging. Manage the local influencer agency to develop strong influencer campaigns, from initial briefs and KOL selection to overseeing drafts and final published content.
  • Agency Management: Oversee and coordinate multiple agencies simultaneously, including influencer, PR, and event agencies, for two distinct markets. Maximize agency performance and ensure seamless collaboration between agencies and internal teams.
  • Public Relations: Manage PR events, advise on speeches and scripts, prepare for interviews, and conduct post-launch and event analysis to continuously improve our approach. Cultivate strong relationships with media publications.
  • Community Building: Develop and implement innovative community engagement strategies across various platforms. Foster a sense of belonging and create meaningful interactions with our consumers.
  • Brand Advocacy: Champion Brand’s values and DNA, developing local initiatives that enhance brand image, visibility, and reputation in the Malaysia-Singapore market.

Who are we looking for?

We seek a passionate and driven individual with a proven track record in brand communications and community management. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills allow you to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. You have an established network of media contacts and influencers, and you excel at multitasking and negotiation.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in relevant function such as Marketing or Marketing Communications is preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing or marketing communications/PR in beauty, haircare, luxury retail or fashion is an added advantage
  • Has good relationship with media publications & existing influencer network (not just online media)
  • Outstanding communications, negotiations & multitasking skills
  • Excellent command of English language in both written & verbal
  • Ability to plan strategically for brand communications and awareness campaigns
  • Knowledge on Xiaohongshu a plus
