Key Responsibilities

• Administer and support MySQL databases on Linux platforms

• Perform routine maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting of MySQL databases

• Execute backup and restore operations to ensure data integrity

• Collaborate on database capacity planning and monitoring

• Apply Linux system administration skills to support database operations

Must-have Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in MySQL database administration on Linux

• Hands-on experience with MySQL database administration on Linux

• Strong understanding of optimization, tuning, and troubleshooting techniques for MySQL databases

• Proven hands-on backup and restore capabilities for MySQL databases

• Familiarity with basic Linux system administration

• Analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication

• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible

• Experience designing and refining physical database architecture for reliability

• Exposure to fault-tolerant and distributed database mechanisms
