About the role

Reporting To: Process QA Manager

Location: Penang

Key responsibilities

• To manage day to day operations quality tasks from product / process review to release of product.
• To review and enforce implementation of all procedures and controls related to GMP and HACCP.
• To manage NPI and other Food Safety related program.
• In charge of RM / NPI review & compliance to FS requirement.
• To advise on product disposition and support investigation / troubleshooting process.
• To assist Process QM in quality related tasks.

Qualifications and skills

• Minimum Degree in Food Science or other science disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in food industry;
• Possess a thorough knowledge of product line and manufacturing processes, general knowledge of food industry in Food Safety Program and Hazard Analysis (HACCP) and process control procedures / manual
• Good initiative and results oriented;
• Exemplary leadership qualities and able to make difficult decisions;
• A team player with high commitment and able to perform under pressure
