Job Summary
X-FAB is looking for a development engineer to join our Process Development Opto and Sensor team, based in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, working as part of an international organisation developing mixed signal CMOS technologies.
Major Responsibilities
- Process development activities for mixed signal CMOS process with a focus on Opto and Sensor devices, such as Photodiodes, CMOS image sensors, SPAD etc.
- Define semiconductor process flows and device architectures.
- Define, implementation and evaluation of experiments, using method of design of experiments (DoE).
- Development and design of test structures.
- Offer technical support to customers.
- Management of development projects, working in interdisciplinary and international teams.
Qualification: Bachelor Degree / Master of Engineering in Physics, Microelectronics, Material Science or related subject.

- Willingness to learn new knowledge and skills
- Good understanding of Semiconductor device physics.
- Knowledge or experience to function, fabrication and characterisation of semiconductor devices.
- Good technical report writing skill
- Experience in project work.
- Trained in the formal use of Design-of-Experiments and statistical techniques.
- Experience in Layout and TCAD would be advantageous.
