About The Role

The Partner Marketing Manager works with partners to consult on their marketing strategies and tactics and to develop effective campaigns that deliver ROI.

A great Partner Marketing Manager needs to have a very strong understanding of what is happening in the marketplace and what influences buying decisions. You will keep on top of market trends and proactively manage vendor brand messaging, so it meets the consumer head-on. You will need to be analytical in your thinking to track ROI and ensure constant review to ensure that partner campaigns deliver. Planning, directing and adjusting multiple campaigns calls for an ability to focus on details.

The Partner Marketing Manager works on behalf of clients to support their network of IT partners by providing valuable, ground-level insights into partner capabilities, readiness, and performance metrics derived from planned marketing activities. This is a dynamic role closely tied to the cloud and IT industry, focused on driving measurable partners and business success.

This role will support Partners across the APJ&I region. You will need to support end to end field and marketing activities planning, focusing on partner management, campaign execution, and event delivery. To drive strategic and operational initiatives aligned to business priorities, including reporting, partner enablement, and cross regional coordination. You will be providing advice and support on marketing tactics and strategies, so you will need to have a good understanding of marketing tactics. Acting as a central liaison throughout projects, you will also need to be a strong communicator - relationship management skills are crucial in this role

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with partners, distributors, agencies, and internal stakeholders, acting as the key liaison across partner, vendor, and PMM/VPMM teams.
  • Manage day-to-day partner engagement, ensuring partners are well-informed, enabled, and actively driving initiatives that contribute to revenue growth.
  • Work closely with partners, as well as local sales and marketing teams, to understand solution priorities, localise client-provided content, and deliver effective partner enablement and training.
  • Develop and execute targeted go-to-market (GTM) strategies for key solutions, including vertical-specific campaigns, and create clear briefs for partner enablement, training, and presentations.
  • Plan and support the execution of partner-led marketing campaigns and GTM initiatives (e.g. webinars, workshops), ensuring content alignment and seamless delivery.
  • Manage and optimise Marketing Development Funds (MDF), ensuring strategic allocation to maximise campaign performance across the APJ&I region.
  • Own end-to-end execution of partner campaigns and events, including planning, coordination, logistics, and performance tracking.
  • Lead the delivery of partner-led events, including sponsorships, partner summits, webinars, and digital campaigns, to effectively showcase solution value and strengthen partnerships across APJ&I.
  • Maintain a structured calendar of all partner marketing activities, aligned with product launches, key campaigns, and industry priorities.
  • Track campaign performance, leads, and ROI, ensuring accountability across the full lead management lifecycle.
  • Proactively identify and resolve partner or client challenges, escalating issues where necessary to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of experience in B2B marketing within the APAC region, ideally in the IT, cloud, or enterprise software/SaaS industry
  • Experience working with hyperscalers (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure), Global Systems Integrators (GSI), or partner-driven ecosystems
  • Proven track record in managing and executing multi-channel B2B marketing campaigns, including partner-led and co-sell initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with partners, clients, and internal teams
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse campaign performance, extract insights, and translate them into actionable GTM strategies
  • Experience planning and executing end-to-end marketing campaigns, including budgeting, MDF utilisation, and performance optimisation
  • Hands-on experience across digital and offline marketing channels, such as email, CRM platforms, paid media (LinkedIn/Google), SEO/SEM, events, webinars, and content syndication
  • Strong sense of ownership with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Interest or experience in AI-driven marketing, low-code platforms, or workflow automation tools is an advantage
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with a strong willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and industry trends
  • Strong MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills with the ability to present information
  • Additional Asian language would be an advantage (Indonesian/Thai/Vietnamese/Japanese/Korean/Mandarin/Hindi)
  • Willingness to learn and contribute ideas
