Job Summary**

The Payroll Clerk is responsible for accurately processing payroll for QSR Brands (M) Holdings Bhd employees, ensuring timely and correct salary disbursements, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll for all employees, including data entry of hours worked, leave, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Verify payroll data for accuracy and completeness, resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and issue paychecks or manage direct deposit processes.
  • Calculate and process statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) and other relevant deductions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records and employee information in the payroll system.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and related matters.
  • Assist with the preparation of payroll reports for management and auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Support year-end payroll activities, including the preparation of tax forms.
  • Collaborate with the HR department on employee onboarding, changes, and terminations affecting payroll.

Job Qualifications**

  • Minimum SPM/STPM or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (1-3 years) as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar payroll processing role, preferably in a large organization.
  • Solid understanding of Malaysian labor laws and statutory requirements related to payroll (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
  • Proficiency in payroll software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle HRMS, or other integrated payroll systems).
  • Excellent data entry skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
