Job Summary**

As a Personal Banker at RHB Bank Berhad, you will be the primary point of contact for individual customers, providing comprehensive financial advice and services to help them achieve their financial goals.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with individual customers by understanding their financial needs and objectives.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell RHB Bank's products and services, including deposits, loans, investments, and insurance.
  • Provide personalized financial advice and solutions to customers, ensuring alignment with their risk appetite and financial goals.
  • Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, including account opening, deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers.
  • Educate customers on digital banking channels and promote their usage for enhanced convenience.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to branch sales objectives.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and new product developments to provide relevant advice.
  • Participate in branch activities and initiatives to enhance customer engagement and community outreach.

Job Qualifications**

  • Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in a customer-facing role within the banking or financial services industry, preferably as a Personal Banker or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of banking products, services, and financial markets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Results-oriented with a strong sales and service acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in other local languages is an added advantage.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FIMM, PCE, CUTE) are a plus.
