Planning Executive - Your future position?

As the Planning Executive , you will manage material planning for finished goods and/or raw materials to ensure uninterrupted production and on-time delivery. You will maintain material availability, minimize write-offs, optimize inventory, and collaborate across teams to enhance planning processes and efficiency. In this role, you will report to the Assistant Supply Chain Manager and will be based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.

Sounds interesting? In this exciting role you also will be responsible in:

  • Create and maintain executable production plans that meet productivity, inventory, and customer service targets.
  • Commit customer orders within agreed SLA timelines to ensure timely product availability and customer responsiveness.
  • Review MRP and production capacity to manage supply, inventory levels, and on-time delivery performance.
  • Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly production planning reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with technological, food safety, and dietary requirements, including allocation matrices and Halal standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Customer Care, Production, Logistics, Quality, Transport, and Supply Planning to resolve supply issues and optimize operations.
  • Support continuous improvement, cost reduction initiatives, and best-practice sharing across planning activities.
  • Monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory while ensuring adherence to Givaudan procedures, guidelines, and safety standards.

Your Professional Profile Includes

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-3years of relevant work experience in flavour, food, FMCG or other manufacturing industries.
  • Solid understanding of planning, inventory management, and supply chain best practices and principles.
  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification would be advantageous.
  • High affinity for systems and analytical tools, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficient in SAP or other ERP systems.
