We are currently seeking a techno-functional expert for the Gideon suite of applications.The responsibilities for this role include analyzing business requirements, preparing functional specifications, and ensuring the final product meets business needs. This position also involves coordinating closely with key stakeholders across business, technical, and development teams.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
1. Requirement Elicitation and Gathering

Conducting requirement gathering: Meeting with stakeholders (managers, business users, BPO) to uncover what they actually need a system or process to do.

Defining the Scope: Clearly outlining what is included in a project and Demands,
-
Perform an impact analysis: identify the modules impacted by the new demand/project

Collaborate with UX experts : prepare wireframes/mock up screens
2. Data and Process Analysis
-
Process Mapping: Analyzing current business processes ("As-Is") and designing improved workflows ("To-Be").

Gap Analysis: Identifying the missing pieces between the current state of a business process and the desired future state.
3. Documentation
-
Creating Key Documents: Writing detailed Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs).

Writing User Stories: In Agile environments, translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for developers

Maintaining Records: Ensuring all project demands, changes, and decisions are thoroughly documented and organized.
4. Stakeholder Communication

Acting as a Translator: Converting business jargon into technical requirements for developers, and explaining technical limitations or timelines to business leaders in plain English.

Managing Expectations: Keeping stakeholders updated on project progress, risks, and roadblocks.
5. Testing and Implementation

User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinating and overseeing UAT to ensure the final product actually solves the business problem it was designed to fix.

Training & Support: Creating user manuals and training staff on how to use the new system, software, or process.
Are you a MATCH?
-
Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering/ supply chain/CRM/e-commerce,
-
At least 8 years of IT work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments & business applications

Good business process knowledge with strong ability to analyse the business needs and translate them into Functional/Technical specifications

Ability to convert the business requirements into technical solution.

Strong communication skills to influence multiple business users.
