Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel’s recreational facilities, including pools, fitness centers, sports areas, and children’s activities. You will lead the recreation team in delivering high-quality guest experiences through a variety of activities and events. You will design and implement engaging recreational programs, promote wellness initiatives, and ensure guest safety. As a Recreation Supervisor, you’re not just overseeing daily recreation operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

  • Oversee daily recreation operations: Supervise all aspects of day-to-day recreation services, including guest experience, food and beverage offerings, marketing, merchandising, reservations, systems, budgeting, and reporting
  • Lead engaging programs and activities: Oversee the coordination and promotion of all recreation offerings, including pool and water activities, tennis tournaments, children’s programs, and special events
  • Enhance guest service delivery: Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction trends, proactively addressing concerns and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Inspire and develop the team: Train, supervise, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements to build an engaged and high-performing team
  • Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing

In Addition, This Role Requires The Following Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous experience in recreation management, hospitality, or a similar role, preferably within a hotel or resort setting.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to plan and execute recreational activities for diverse guest groups.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • A passion for guest service and recreation, with a strong understanding of wellness and leisure trends.
