Mission

Our ideal candidate should be an independent, tech savvy, driven individual with great people skills, and a passion for writing. This position will support the rollout of Azelis Asia Pacific customer portal by working closely with the Digital/Marketing teams and other stakeholders to populate our digital platform.

Regional Treasurer - Accountabilities

Reporting to the Group Treasurer, this role takes responsibility for the:

• Responsibility over of day-to-day cash management, cash flow forecasting and all electronic banking systems of the Region with special focus on banking delegation (signature powers)
• Ensure that enough funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements
• Advise Group Treasurer and Regional Management on the liquidity aspects of its short- and mid/long-range planning
• On field execution of any equity and debt financing within the delegation received by Group Treasurer
• Execution of the Regional borrowing process and regional bank relationship
• Direct report to Group Treasurer for any Credit Rating or Credit Insurers requirement
• Assessment and execution of the business-related risks including FX, interest rate and counterparty risk management within the delegation received by Group Treasurer
• Assessment of an effective and efficient hedging program in accordance with Group policy
• Integration and development of the Group Treasury policies in the region
• Maintenance of a system of policies and procedures imposing an adequate level of control over Treasury activities
• Implementation of robust controls within Treasury processes
• Establishment and ongoing development of relationships with other regional departments
• Ownership of some Group’s projects/processes within the delegation by Group Treasurer
• Availability to back-up other Regional Treasury colleagues in case required
