Job Summary
The F&B Service Crew is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, handling customer inquiries, and supporting daily restaurant operations while adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service

Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Present menus, explain menu items, and recommend food and beverage options.

Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.

Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
-
Check on customers during their meal and respond promptly to requests or concerns.

Handle customer feedback professionally and escalate issues when necessary.

Process bills and payments accurately.
Restaurant Operations
-
Prepare dining areas before service, including table setup and cleanliness.

Clear and reset tables efficiently.
-
Refill condiments, beverages, utensils, and other service items as needed.
-
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
-
Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and inventory checks.
Food Safety & Hygiene
-
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
-
Ensure personal grooming and uniform standards are maintained.

Handle food and beverages according to company and regulatory guidelines.

Report any food safety or maintenance issues to the supervisor immediately.
Teamwork
-
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and fellow service crew to ensure smooth operations.

Support team members during busy periods.

Attend training sessions and team meetings as required.

Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.
Requirements
-
Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
-
Previous experience in F&B, hospitality, retail, or customer service is an advantage but not mandatory.

Fresh graduates and school leavers are encouraged to apply.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Positive attitude with strong customer service orientation.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Basic proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage.
