• The Sales Associate Cum Cashier is responsible for supporting the store's objectives by delivering excellent customer service and ensuring effective maintenance of designated zones. This role requires flexibility to cover various sections of the store and handle cashier responsibilities, including processing transactions and maintaining standards at the cash desk. Additionally, understanding and implementing compliance, safety, and SOP knowledge is imperative. Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction, sales targets, and operational efficiency.

Customer Service

• Deliver excellent customer service in line with store needs.
• Acknowledge customers and provide quality service either face-to-face or over the telephone.
• Attend all relevant trainings pertaining to customer services and product knowledge.

Cashier Duties

• Process sales, exchanges, and refunds efficiently, accurately, and quickly in all payment methods.
• Cover key responsibilities of the Head Cashier and Deputy Cashier in their absence.
• Ensure complete efficiency when following opening and closing cash desk procedures.

Store Maintenance

• Maintain responsibility for designated sections of the store, ensuring a basic image of the area is kept (folding and displaying).
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained on the shop floor and cash desk areas are replenished and kept tidy.
• Maintain excellent standards in the stockroom by organizing and arranging stock efficiently.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure the store is adequately resourced and compliant with legal requirements, with a thorough knowledge of compliance issues.
• Implement store self-assessment audits and create action plans with management.
• Maintain awareness of health and safety practices and communicate with senior management in case of accidents.

Training and Development

• Engage in relevant training and development as set by your line manager.
• Ensure employees are knowledgeable and updated on SOPs.
• Develop stock knowledge and stay informed on promotions throughout the store.

• Strong customer service skills with a passion for fashion.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in basic mathematical operations for handling cash transactions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, exercising strong initiative.

• Previous fashion retail experience or excellent customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience desirable with strong numerate and literacy skills.
• Flexibility to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong initiative and self-motivation.
