Sales Executive – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Job Ref: 26I/SEML)

We have an exciting new career opportunity for a Sales Executive based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to join our South East Asia sales team.


Location: Home based in Kuala Lumpur, with travel required throughout Malaysia, Brunei and Taiwan.


Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent (on a consultancy contract)


Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week, mostly Monday to Friday. Some flexibility may be required.


Salary Offered: Base 9,000 MYR to 13,000 MYR gross per month.



What does the Sales Executive role involve?


This role is responsible for sales and promotion of Randox Clinical products, including our QC, reagents and molecular products across, Malaysia, Brunei and Taiwan. This role will focus on developing business with current customers as well as winning new business and working alongside our distributors. In addition, the successful applicant will:


  • Contribute to the overall growth and profitability of Randox by development and maintaining of customers through providing a high level of support and service as a salesperson.
  • Achieve agreed sales targets within your region.
  • Identify and develop customer relations in areas where we are currently unrepresented.
  • Prepare sales reports and sales projections.
  • Attend sales exhibitions and events.
  • Utilise the Randox CRM system on a daily basis.
  • Travel to complete regular in person customer visits.
  • Manage key accounts.
  • Manage and work alongside our distributors in the region.
  • Market research into the potential business opportunities for new and current Randox product lines.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and competitor awareness.


Who can apply?


Essential criteria:


  • A bachelors degree or higher in a Life Science, Biochemistry or Business-related discipline.
  • A proven track record in sales and customer relationship management.
  • Strong presentation skills in both creation and delivery.
  • Flexibility in your availability to meet business needs.
  • High degree of self motivation.
  • Flexibility to travel regularly throughout Malaysia, Taiwan and Brunei.
  • Fluent in Malay and Mandarin.
  • At least fluent to business level in English.


Desirable:


  • Previous experience within a Life Science, Bio-Tech or Medical industry.
  • Previous experience in a sales position.
  • Previous experience within a laboratory environment.
