Job Description Summary

Accenture Strategy & Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Functional Consultant with strong end-to-end implementation experience across core utilities processes. The role involves designing and delivering SAP IS-U solutions across customer, billing, metering, and financial/collections areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure Business Partner, Contract Account, Contract, and Connection Object
• Manage move-in / move-out and device lifecycle processes
• Define premises, installations, and device structures

• Configure rate structures, billing schema, and operands
• Handle billing scenarios including proration and reversals
• Support invoicing and print workbench

• Configure meter reading processes and registers
• Integrate with AMI/MDUS systems
• Ensure accurate consumption processing

• Configure payment posting, clearing, and dunning
• Manage installment plans and write-offs
• Define reconciliation keys and financial postings

Implementation Experience

• Minimum 1–2 end-to-end SAP IS-U implementations
• Experience in requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live
• Exposure to integration with FICA, FI, and external systems

Basic Qualifications

• Strong utilities domain knowledge
• Experience in billing, metering, or FICA
• Knowledge of SAP IS-U data model and transactions

Professional Skills

• Strong analytical skills
• Client-facing experience
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• MBA preferred
