The role of Finance Analyst is primarily to provide financial insight as a support for business decisions. This position is responsible for all financial activities including the monthly closing cycle, reporting, building weekly/monthly estimates and the development of the annual plan. Finance Analyst works closely with SBU finance team, but also supports directly business stakeholders in area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the SBU finance, work closely with other finance functions
  • Responsible for reporting for SBU and location as well as the calculations of key metrics
  • Provide any ad hoc analysis as required by business stakeholders of various levels.
  • Analyze, interpret and communicate monthly financial results, including explanation of performance drivers, risks and opportunities, prepare insightful analysis of the numbers .
  • Actively participate in annual budget preparation and implementation.
  • Monthly closing process - coordinate activities to ensure results are accurate and explainable
  • In addition, there will be ad-hoc Projects and work as required

Qualifications

  • The candidate must hold a relevant degree, welcome recognized professional accountancy qualification or currently pursuing such as CIMA / ACCA.
  • Self-motivated, team player with an eagerness to learn and grow
  • Able to work without close supervision and use their own initiative
  • Strong organization skills, ability to prioritize and manage time
  • Business and commercially aware, ideally with experience of working in a commercial environment
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, specialist in Excel
  • Exposure to PPG IT systems (HFM, SAP, Oracle)
  • Multiple language skills English / Mandarin as a minimum.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
