Senior Manager Component Verification

Manage and lead a team of component verification engineers in PSS Component Verification Lab Melaka, fulfilling division/business line expectations and working with other counterparts to support development projects/tasks.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• To lead a team of CV engineers with the purpose of achieving relevant KPIs of the team
• Responsible for managing the section’s activities and execution quality; synergize team’s activities with cross-site and relevant counterparts
• Ensure the team’s functions run smoothly and efficiently at minimum cost and contributes constructively to the growth of the Company
• Provides leadership to the team to ensure that the goals and objectives set are attained with more than satisfactory results
• Drive personnel development to ensure professional growth of department members through training courses, on-the-job training, and project activities
• Technically involve in problem-solving and project execution, assigning relevant experts to support the team in ensuring successful completion of tasks/deliverables
• Being the interface into the global organization, including alignment and correlation with world-wide organization of labs
• Communicates effectively with business partners, across business line and also inclusive of manufacturing colleagues (if/when needed) to ensure productive execution of tasks/deliverables for our customers
  
  

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, Microelectronics, or Semiconductor Technology
• Minimum 8 years of experience in semiconductor test, product engineering, or device validation, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Strong technical knowledge in power discrete product electrical verification and lab instrumentation/bench validation
• Solid background in test methodologies, data analysis, and engineering problem-solving techniques
• Demonstrated success in people management, cross-functional collaboration, and performance development
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills in a matrixed, global organization
• Innovative thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to drive process improvements
