We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
Job Purpose:
Design, implement, and continuously enhance corporate finance and treasury infrastructure, processes, and systems to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency across DHL globally.
The role is responsible for driving finance process quality and improvement, finance systems analysis, and treasury technology enablement in alignment with Group strategy, objectives, guidelines, and policies. This includes identifying and implementing new digital and data‑driven approaches, delivering information systems aligned with user needs, supporting treasury activities (cash, funding, banking, and financial risk management), and enabling optimised capital and legal entity structures—while ensuring regulatory compliance and strong governance.
Your tasks:
- Apply finance and treasury technology best practices to streamline workflows, reduce manual processing, and enhance end‑to‑end treasury and corporate finance operations
- Define and execute strategies to enhance finance processes, including reporting, workflow management, and system‑enabled controls across key financial platforms
- Monitor and evaluate treasury and finance technology market developments, collaborating closely with business and procurement teams on requirement definition, proofs of concept, tenders, and RFP processes
- Lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of system interfaces, including APIs, ensuring seamless integration across finance, treasury, banking, and external platforms
- Independently manage and deliver cross‑divisional and cross‑regional initiatives involving Treasury, RTCs, Group IT, Finance, and external partners
- Provide systems and analytical support for treasury activities such as bonds, loans, derivatives, valuation of financial instruments, and hedging strategies
- Own the full system lifecycle for assigned platforms and solutions, including tendering, design, testing, implementation, maintenance, decommissioning, and migration
- Coordinate internal stakeholders and IT resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations
Your profile:
Education Level
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Preferred: Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g. ACT, CFA, FRM, PMP, CBAP)
Experience Level
- 7–10+ years of experience in Corporate Treasury, Finance Systems, Finance Transformation, or Corporate Finance technology roles
- Demonstrated hands‑on experience leading or delivering system enhancements, workflow automation, API integrations, and data‑driven process improvements
- Proven track record managing complex, cross‑regional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders (e.g. Treasury, RTCs, Group IT, external vendors)
Technical Requirements (Must Have’s)
- Strong hands‑on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, including:
- Power Automate: End‑to‑end workflow design and automation of finance processes
- Power Apps: Canvas or model‑driven app development, UI design, and functional prototyping
- Power BI: Data modelling, dashboarding, and KPI reporting for Treasury and Finance
- Deep familiarity with AI LLM and its application in automating finance workflows, data analysis, and knowledge management
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Fabric, or similar platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks particularly in integrating structured and unstructured data from finance, treasury, and external systems
- Experience with one or more enterprise finance or treasury platforms such as FIS Quantum, SAP HANA, LSEG, Bloomberg
- Strong capability in business analysis, functional requirements definition, and translating business needs into system solutions
Good to Have
- Experience with databases, API frameworks, SQL, or data transformation tools
- Exposure to RPA, AI‑enabled solutions, or advanced automation in finance
- Understanding of Microsoft Fabric pipelines, lakehouse concepts, or enterprise data architecture

- Ability to independently lead complex initiatives and influence senior stakeholders across regions and functions
- Strong communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex technology concepts for finance audiences
- Demonstrated capability to coach, mentor, or guide junior professionals and matrix teams
- High learning agility and strong interest in emerging finance technologies, digital transformation, and data‑driven decision‑making
