Job Summary
Provide on-site technical support by troubleshooting equipment faults, replacing defective parts, and restoring equipment to operational condition. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for kitchen exhaust hood systems, and work closely with subcontractors on duct and hood cleaning services. Coordinate job schedules with the Service Executive, prepare accurate service reports after each visit, and ensure timely completion of assigned service activities. This role requires frequent night work, outstation travel, and direct customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Provide on-site technical support by troubleshooting equipment faults, replacing defective parts, and restoring equipment to operational condition. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for kitchen exhaust hood systems, and work closely with subcontractors on duct and hood cleaning services. Coordinate job schedules with the Service Executive, prepare accurate service reports after each visit, and ensure timely completion of assigned service activities. This role requires frequent night work, outstation travel, and direct customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site inspection, troubleshooting, repair, testing, preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
- Identify equipment faults, replace defective or worn parts, and confirm correct operation after repair.
- Prepare and submit a complete service report after each visit, including findings, work completed, parts replaced, recommendations and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate with the Service Executive on job scheduling, site access, customer requirements and changes to the service plan.
- Prepare the necessary tools, spare parts, documents and safety equipment before attending each job.
- Provide timely job updates and escalate unresolved technical or safety issues.
- Communicate professionally with customers and comply with company and customer site safety requirements.
- Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electronics or a related technical field. Relevant experience may also be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in field service, equipment maintenance, repair, or technical troubleshooting.
- Good fault-finding, problem-solving, communication and service-report writing skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a responsible, safety-conscious and customer-focused attitude.
- Possess a valid driving license and own a reliable vehicle for travel to customer sites.
- Willing to work mainly at night and, when required, after office hours, weekends, public holidays and emergency call-outs.
- Willing to use own vehicle for business travel, including local and outstation assignments, in accordance with company travel and reimbursement policies.
- Deliver service jobs on time with quality troubleshooting and repair.
- Submit accurate service reports and maintain proper control of tools and parts.
- Comply with safety, scheduling, and customer site requirements while maintaining professional customer communication.
