Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Production Support (with 4 to 6 years of experience in data focused role) to drive the end-to-end sourcing of data from upstream source systems into our Enterprise Data Lake. The role sits at the intersection of business and technology — you will work closely with source system owners, data engineers, and data consumers to understand, document, and translate source data structures into the data lake's target model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Specialist , Data Engineering, to work in SRE teams, working with delivery teams, Consumers and ensure all the activities are completed as SLA
  • Configure, develop, and deliver data ingestion scripts for loading data into T1 data layer
  • Work on SRE to support various Stake holders and consumers
  • Work on SRE to monitor batches and work on DQ issues
  • Facilitate testing and implement bug fixes and support the product and data systems
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and execute
  • Work with cross functional teams effectively).

Strategy

  • Strong Knowledge in Data Sourcing into Data Lake.
  • Work experience & Good Knowledge on Hadoop Eco Systems, Hive, Spark, and Scala.
  • Knowledge on Data Warehousing
  • Strong knowledge on Complex SQL query.
  • Experience in working in an AGILE delivery model.
  • Good analytical & communication skills to understand requirements / data ingestion framework and to articulate solutions/feedbacks.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Problem solving skills and Lateral thinking
  • Adaptive to the aggressive timelines in delivery.

Business

  • Good knowledge of Banking industry

Processes

  • Strong in Debugging and analysing the fixing the issue
  • Able to work in SRE teams, Working with delivery teams , Consumers and ensure all the activities are completed as SLA
  • Analysis on the incidents/Jira and add closing as per the SLA
