Due to the rapid expansion of our regional markets, we are scaling our Malaysia Team to expand our delivery capabilities across the APAC region.
As a Talent Advisor, you will act as a core Recruitment Researcher supporting multiple high-profile cross-border searches across APAC markets. This is a delivery-focused, candidate- strategic sourcing role. You will partner closely with our regional recruitment consultants and country leads to map target industries, uncover hidden talent, and build a world-class candidate pipeline for a selective pool of clients.
Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing & Market Mapping:
- Execute data-driven sourcing strategy: Utilize advanced search methodologies (Boolean logic, X-ray searching, LinkedIn Recruiter) to identify top-tier passive candidates across APAC.
- Competitor & Market Mapping: Proactively map out target organizations, organograms, and industry talent pools to uncover market trends and leading professionals.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and build a warm, highly engaged pipeline of pre-vetted talent for niche, recurring, or executive-level roles.
Candidate Evaluation & Engagement:
- Screening & Assessment: Conduct initial headhunting reaches, qualify candidate experience against specific client briefs, and assess cultural and strategic fit.
- Pitching Opportunities: Act as a brand ambassador for Links International and our clients, accurately articulating employee value propositions to secure candidate interest.
- Briefing & Preparation: Assist candidates through the initial stages of the assessment process, ensuring their profile documentation is high quality.
Regional Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Consultant Partnerships: Align daily with regional recruitment teams (e.g., Hong Kong, and Singapore) to adapt sourcing directions based on immediate client feedback.
- CRM Integrity: Track all research activity accurately within the internal database, ensuring candidate tracking systems remain clean, compliant, and up-to-date.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: Minimum of 0-3 years of experience in HR, recruitment sourcing, talent search, or a research environment. Experience targeting regional APAC markets is highly advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Use of LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, internal applicant tracking systems (ATS), and deep web sourcing methodologies.
- Language Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills to effectively engage regional teams and high-caliber corporate candidates. Additional regional language skills are a plus.
- Mindset: High levels of persistence, curiosity, and a commercial mindset. You enjoy the challenge of finding a needle in a haystack and managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Able to work in fast paced environment
- Previous sales / telemarketing / customer service experience would be a plus
