Key Responsibilities:

• Develop 3D Features and Tools: Design, build, and maintain 3D components for the web-based design editor. Collaborate with product and design teams to create an intuitive and performant 3D design experience.
• Optimize Performance: Ensure 3D tools run smoothly across a wide range of devices and browsers, focusing on rendering performance, responsiveness, and user experience.
• Collaborate on Template Creation: Work with 3D designers to develop templates across various product categories, contributing to the expansion of the 3D template library.
• Experiment and Innovate: Stay ahead of industry trends in 3D technology, experimenting with new techniques and tools to drive innovation.
• Integrate with Production Pipelines: Collaborate with production teams to streamline the product design-to-production pipeline, ensuring a seamless handoff between design and manufacturing.
• Contribute to the Product Roadmap: Provide technical insights and contribute to the long-term development roadmap, helping to shape the direction of the product and its technology.
  
  
  

What Our Client is Looking For:

• 3D Development Expertise: 3+ years of experience in 3D web technologies, including WebGL, Three.js, and React-three-fiber, with a deep understanding of 3D rendering, animations, and performance optimization.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of English, essential for interfacing professionally with Australia-based internal teams.
• Graphics Programming Knowledge: Proficiency in shader programming (GLSL) and familiarity with rendering pipelines, lighting, and textures.
• Frontend Development Skills: Experience with frontend development, particularly JavaScript frameworks such as React. Knowledge of Typescript and WebAssembly is a plus.
• Passion for Design and UX: A keen eye for design and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex 3D features and systems.
• Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, capable of working effectively across departments and with stakeholders at all levels.
• Innovative Spirit: A passion for experimenting with new ideas, tools, and techniques in 3D development, staying ahead of industry trends.
