About the role

Utopia Borneo Sdn Bhd is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Account to join our growing team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As an Account, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting operations of our company. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for career development and growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and processing invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
  • Reconciling bank statements and maintaining accurate accounts payable and receivable
  • Assisting with the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and statements
  • Providing administrative support to the finance and accounting teams
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and support
  • Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of financial data

    • What we're looking for

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and procedures
