Job Purpose

Responsible for driving direct/indirect sales and application of Process Solutions technologies, products, and services (such as chemicals, single-use technologies, filters, chromatography, etc.) for identified accounts. The Account Manager will develop strategic account plans and maintain effective business relationships at all levels within assigned and new accounts to influence purchasing decisions and achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow and protect sales of the assigned product portfolio or market in Malaysia.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with major accounts in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
  • Maintain effective and professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on customer engagement activities and participate in trade shows, seminars, and conferences.
  • Develop profiles of assigned accounts to identify key decision-makers, influencers, and opinion leaders.
  • Coordinate and prepare commercial proposals, technical reports, and quotations.
  • Work with supporting functions on inventory management to ensure smooth and timely delivery of products.
  • Collaborate across countries to drive and support key accounts
  • Submit accurate quarterly forecasts, order intake, and business reports on time.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or Chemistry.
  • 1–3 years of relevant sales or technical sales experience, ideally in pharmaceutical or biomanufacturing environments.
  • Must have your own car and driving license.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in business-to-business sales and project management is desirable.
  • Good business acumen and time management skills.
  • Experience working in a matrixed global organization.
