Job Responsibility

  • Generate and issue customer invoices and debit noites accurately and on time
  • Record and apply incoming payments (cheques, bank transfer, etc.) to customer accounts
  • Maintain up-to-date aging reports and customer statements
  • Perform monthly AR reconciliations and assist in month-end closing activities
  • Follow up with sales person on billing queries and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist in preparing audit schedules and supporting documents related to AR
  • Ensure proper SST treatment on invoices and maintain required records
  • Support e-invoicing implementation (LHDN compliance) and ensure accurate issuance
  • Review new customer credit applications and assess creditworthiness based in internal guidelines and supporting documents
  • Perform background checks (e.g. CTOS, trade references) and recommend appropriate credit terms
  • Liase with the sales team for clarification on customer information or exceptions
  • Set up new customer profiles in the accounting system upon approval, ensuring accruracy of details (e.g. billing address, teax ID, credit limit, payment terms)
  • Maintain and update customer master data in a timely and controlled manner
  • Monitor existing customer credit limits and review for revision based on payment history or sales request
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit policy and approval workflow

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting or rleated filed
  • 1-2 years' experience in AR or credit control
  • Good communication and follow-up skills
  • Able to work independently and manage timelines
