About the role

As an Accountant at INSTANT EXHIBITIONS (SABAH) SDN. BHD.', you will play a vital role in the financial operations and reporting of the company. This full-time position is based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, and will involve a range of responsibilities focused on ensuring accurate and compliant financial management.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations and manage cash flow
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Support the Finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to provide financial information
  • Continuously look for ways to improve financial processes and controls

    • What we're looking for

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the financial accounting and reporting industry
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations
